Meet Dr. John Warren,
DVM, DACVO

Dr. John Warren is a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience diagnosing and treating complex eye conditions in animals of all kinds. He completed his DVM at Louisiana State University, a competitive residency in comparative ophthalmology in Dallas, and currently serves on the ABVO Residency Committee.

Before founding Animal Eye Associates of Montana, he built and led one of the nation’s largest eye-only specialty practices.

Dr. Warren has trained numerous residents and mentored countless veterinary students, earning a reputation for precision, compassion, and partnership. He’s proud to now offer full-time specialty care in Bozeman—where clients and referring vets alike know their patients are in expert hands.

Why Montana?

After decades in a high-volume specialty setting, Dr. Warren and his family made a purposeful move to Bozeman—drawn by the community, the lifestyle, and the opportunity to meet a real medical need. While some clients still travel six hours or more for care, they now come to a full-time clinic that puts clarity, communication, and compassion first.
